The problem

Most UI kits are a pile of hardcoded frames: every brand change means detaching components and repainting them by hand.

What it does

Color, radius, border, spacing and type run on Figma Variables with light and dark modes, so a token change carries across every component.

Who it's for

Makers on shadcn/ui, agencies and brand designers, and anyone prototyping fast.

01 · The problem

Built like a system. Not a component dump.

Neo-brutalism is the starting point, not a cage. Change the tokens for color, type, radius, border and spacing, and the system carries those decisions across the components.

Component naming and structure follow shadcn/ui, so design-to-code handoff needs less translation for teams that build with it. The visual layer is neo-brutalist: thick borders, hard shadows and bold color.

02 · The useful part

Three things it does for you.

  1. 01Tokens

Change a token and the library follows. Color, radius, border, spacing and typography are variable-driven, so you can make the kit yours without detaching everything.

  2. 02Modes

Light and dark, already connected. Switch the mode on a frame and the components follow: less cleanup, fewer one-off states, faster reviews.

  3. 03Handoff

Names that map to shadcn/ui. Component naming and structure feel familiar to teams building with shadcn, so handoff needs less translation.

One purchase covers one designer. Every person who edits with the library needs their own license; developers who only view the file for implementation do not. No resale, redistribution or re-upload to Figma Community or any marketplace.

04 · Why it matters

Made for people who ship.

Makers on shadcn/ui
Go from shadcn to Figma without translating the whole system. Familiar names make design and code easier to line up.
Agencies and brand designers
Swap tokens, add the brand, then hand off a system rather than a pile of detached screens.
Fast prototypers
Variants, states and tokens are already there when an idea needs to move fast.
05 · Questions

Questions, answered.

Is the Neo Brutalism UI Library free?

The Lite edition is free on Figma Community and shows the style in light mode with preview frames. The full library, with 45+ components, Variables, light and dark modes and Lucide icons, is a one-time purchase of €25.

Does it work with Figma Variables and dark mode?

Yes. Color, radius, border, spacing and typography are Figma Variables with light and dark modes, so switching a mode restyles every component.

Is it based on shadcn?

The components follow shadcn naming and structure, so the Figma file maps cleanly to a shadcn/ui codebase. You do not need shadcn/ui to use it: it works as a standalone Figma design system.

What does the license cover?

One purchase covers one designer, with unlimited personal and client projects and free updates. Each person who edits with the library needs their own license. No resale or redistribution.

What do I get when I buy the full library?

A .fig file with 45+ components and 288 variants, Variables for color, radius, border, spacing and typography, 15 text styles in Space Grotesk, 61 Lucide icon components, Getting Started, Tokens and Showcase pages, plus a README and LICENSE.
